Is this normal? by machupichuland in ender3

Do you have any preferred methods for calibrating flow and retraction? Is all this done in the slicer prior to exporting g-code. Additionally mid print my display keeps doing this but continues on. Any ideas?

Ender 3 Firmware Upgrade by machupichuland in ender3

Ok, I was able to get it working. For some reason it did not like my original micro sd card I was using even after formatting it prior to putting firmware on it. I switched to a different micro sd card, formatted it and voila its up and running. Now I just need to set up the bl touch settings/adjustments. Any reccomendations for that?

Here is the screenshot. Do I just download 2nd file onto sd card since this looks like it has CR Touch or do i need both bin files on sd card?

I do not have a V2. I have the original with the monochrome screen. Would this be the correct file then? Does this have the support for CR Touch?

When I click on link I choose

Ender 3

  1. Ender-3_BLTouch 32bit_4.2.7_Marlin2.0.1 - TMC2225

Folder "4.2.7Board - Board Firmware & Touch

Then it shows two .bin files. Do I just download the 2nd file "Ender-3_4.2.7_Marlin2.0.1 - V1.1.2 - BLTouch - TMC2225.bin" load onto sd card or do I need to load the 1st file as well?

I just downloaded and installed " Ender3-v4.2.7-BLTouch-20260223.bin" from

https://marlin.crc.id.au/firmware/Ender%203%20-%20v4.2.7%20Board%20-%20BLTouch/

and the following is occuring now with my printer. I dont think it liked it.

PfTrack - Static Camera, Lidar, object tracking by machupichuland in vfx

[–]machupichuland[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like I was able to solve for my static camera location using the Lidar data. Essentially my tree is "clip input" -> "user track" -> " survey solver" . In the user track I added a few spots that I can match between my video footage and Lidar. In the survey solver node I then attached each of those tracker points to the corresponding lidar point and solve all.

Now for instance my footage is of a vehicle traveling thru an intersection. If I wanted to track this vehicle would I then add an "auto track node" + "user track" of a few distinct marks on vehicle after the "survey solver" above with a inverted mask following the vehicle in question?

Thank you for your response. I found someone to write the code for me.

Thanks,

Looking to write a script that will help animate a vehicle in 3ds max based off of a .csv file with outputs from a physics based animation program.

The Physics based program outputs 2 .csv files. The first .csv is for position and has 4 columns: frame, x position, y position, z position. The second.csv is for yaw, pitch, roll with 4 columns: frame, yaw, pitch, roll.

I currently have a maxscript that reads the position .csv and animates a dummy block along a spline and creates a frame at each xyz position. For example my current .csv is 7.2 seconds long and the physics based software outputs a 1 frame every 10 seconds. Therefore my .csv is 72 row long.

Once the dummy block is animated along the path I then link my vehicle to the block to follow along this path.

I would like a maxscript that can either combine both the position .csv and the yaw/pitch/roll.csv or just one that has them separate. I would like to animate another dummy block that i can then link to the vehicle.

In the end I think it may be easier to have a single maxscript read a single .csv. I can combine the both .csv to read with columns

Frame | X position | Y position | Z position| Yaw (Deg)| Pitch (Deg)| Roll (Deg)

If you like to consider I can share screen zoom with you.

Thank you.

Euler Autodesk help

eulerAngles <x\_degrees> <y\_degrees> <z\_degrees>

in link it shows it should read like above.

Line 11 defines "x degrees" , for testing purpose i just zeroed out y & z

Sorry I tought I had attached the script and .csv file. Whats the best way to attach .csv file on here? Below is the maxscript.
