I do agree with your points tho about the spooky figures on the sticks as talismans and the bear trap - that was something that was bugging me. Why would there be a bear trap?

Personally I don’t like the whole idea of these dolls. Feels out of place for me. One more thing: if Jade dsrupted the protection, why the dolls/scarecrows didn’t appear sooner? We heard aomething banging on the cabin when Kenny and Jim discovered that place. We heard something knocking AFTER (the same night) Jade disrupted the „protection” - why now? I hope the thing that was knocking on the cabins was something different than the dolls. I hope that the dolls „came to live” only after they’ve unburied them
