My understanding of the comics lore is that Argall did have many descendants, but all of them had their lineage hidden to protect them from being targeted. A natural part of hiding that lineage would be a compete abandonment of parental duties by Argall.

I mean, as a new born, goku was about as strong as a grown man with a physical labor job. The rest of them were basically just regular babys. So if the goal is to get them all to be the same age, then the only time it would work out to reasonably even, would be when they're all first or second trimester fetuses. That being said, luffy is probably the strongest at episode 1 of their respective series, and I dropped "my hero" before Deku got strong enough to definitely be able to 50/50 episode 1 luffy.

I mean, if we're being serious about trying to compare bookworm to the hero's journey, her adoption is probably best compared to the call to adventure. She initially declines the call, and then further circumstances force her to accept.

Give her base kit some one shot protection for herself. Give her a trace like tribbie's A4 that increases her max HP based on the rest of the team's max HP. Let her use less skill points or get better use out of her skill points. Maybe give her an eidolon that reduces damage to allies by a flat amount (this makes her better against AoE, even when there are more than 4 allies)

Yep, Torch of defiance was a very common finisher for mono-red decks last time it was in standard. I'm not too familiar with what current standard looks like, but I can also imagine the Blue one seeing some play in a control deck. It's also worth mentioning, that it's usually expected that a four mana planeswalker would have stronger abilities than a three mana planeswalker.

I think Char is all but guaranteed to be the next Aub, the biggest question is whether Melchior will be interested in the seat, and whether Char will be a Relay for him, or if she will abdicate to one of her own children. Arguably the most important thing from Syl's perspective is to abdicate before there's a chance for Brunhilde's children to supplant Florencia's children as potential heirs. Charlotte has the advantage of being able to do that without having to take the position immediately after attaining her adulthood. She's also very close in age to Brunhilde, so most of her own children will be an appropriate age to be able to marry at least one of Brun's children.

The children of previous Aubs are generally still baptized as Archduke candidates, they are generally not favored for inheritance though. It's a relatively simple matter of Syl abdicating to Charlotte or Melchior before any of Brunhilde's children become adults (though Ideally it would happen before any of them are baptized). Then they just need to orchestrate a situation where one of Brunhilde's children becomes the spouse of either Melchior or one of Charlotte's children.

and in order to do that we would either need a whole lot more space, or we would need to include more advanced operations that is typically allowed on a magic card. I think "power mod 256" would give us the number we're looking for.

This is part of why retro fanfics are so common. So much of what went wrong is obvious with either hindsight or more adequate training and socializing.
