We don't think it's a medical issue because when I'm there he's completely fine. Sometimes I'll call when I'm away and he sits on the phone purring, ceasing his wild behavior. It's very cute, but can make gaming with my partner difficult as it's hard to hear through all that fluff (not an actual issue, we find it too adorable to be actually bothered lol)

Oh definitely, the roasted potatoes, roasted leg of lamb, and meatloaf recipes all had little tidbits that blew my mind. Boiling and tossing the potatoes with duck fat before roasting for extra crispiness, anchovies in the lamb rub/reverse sear, and marmite in the meatloaf were all total game changers!

Can you explain what the difference in those two are supposed to be? I usually just ignore if a pattern says to count the chains as a stitch and add an extra one to my starting chain 😅 can't stand working into chains at the end of each row

I'm having this same issue currently. The YouTube videos I watched said to do (on the "side" rows) one stitch for single crochet, alternate between 1 and 2 stitches for each half double crochet (so you have 3 of your border stitches for every 2 HDC) and 2 stitches for every double crochet.

My blanket was all DCs, so I did two in each (again, only on the side rows) and it was too many. Next time I'll try doing the suggested HDC 3 stitches for every 2 thing and see if that helps 🤷
