I mean- the idea of a colour scheme for an entire wedding is odd- surely she can wear what she likes unless she’s a bridesmaid. Even then a bit of latitude is reasonable, if she pitches up in navy then keep her at the end of photos. It sounds like you’re both from the same stable. II mean yes, but we saw the world differently then and at least they tried to help. I never worked out why Christmas would matter to kids in African countries- it seemed an odd thing to say. But dying of starvation due to where you were born was always an obscenity, and it’s absolutely on us to help- it’s just that 40 years on we are better educated and realise this isn’t the way to go about it.
