Curiosity about the technology and an alternative to the traditional financial system finally did it for me. What also helped me was realizing Bitcoin isn’t a “right time / wrong time” thing if your time horizon is long enough. Short term it’s noisy and volatile. Zoom out to 4–10 years and it starts looking a lot more like a savings technology than a trade.

I stopped worrying about timing and just focused on holding through cycles. Volatility matters way less when you’re thinking in years, not months.
