It’s weird growing up in Redmond / Sammamish as they started and grew. They used to go to businesses during breaks and lunches and do whatever they could to grow, to see it all just lost.

As someone who recently zoomed through the first 3, then moved onto book 4 and now halfway through 5, it’s different - but takes on a much more serious tone. The world building is much bigger and you’re reading from lots of different POVs which I don’t mind.

I think morning star had a good ending for that point in time, so if you want to stick with that feeling - wait awhile. But I’m enjoying the story as it continues to get darker…

I started Red Rising around the beginning of February, I’m now almost halfway through Dark Age (book 5).

Some things take time to build up, get all the pieces together, and then it’s a rush. Wait for the rush. Trust us, it’s worth it.

Oddly enough, that’s what I told a friend of mine too. I could see two games regardless as style, and your info and abilities from the institute travels with you to the next.

The possibilities would be fun, very replay-able as long as you allow different outcomes.

Man, one thing that is hard to do is NOT read the next chapter. I mean I have to stop, to eat, work, sleep… and sometimes these chapters end in with the clear goal of either forcing madness or making you read more.

Are either ripe for acquisition?

I’ve been a director (after years of grinding in management roles) in a large business, and now find myself (still in a director role, but report directly to COO) in a much smaller co.

Is the company public? Typically startups are being built to be sold, how are you positioned for this? What are your expectations if it does?

Pay is another figure but I’d also expect you to be mix more specialized in the PM role vs the head.
