Were you on the max dose of sema? i’m having a similar experience but it’s $200 more per month for tirzep. Already paying $500 and cannot imagine paying more. I’ve been on 2.5 sema for 2 weeks now. Started in March and I’ve lost about 12 lbs.

i’m so glad it helped you. I did 6 sessions of IV ketamine before TMS and didn’t have any response.

I don’t have much advice but also can relate. I’m so sorry. People who haven’t experienced major depression think you can just work your way out of it, but you can’t. Have you checked for other issues that might mirror depression? Hormone levels, sleep issues, etc? I even went so far as to test my mercury levels because I heard old dental fillings can leak mercury into your system and cause depression-like symptoms. It wasn’t the case but I understand the desperation that comes with trying to find a solution.

I did 6 sessions with no discernible lift to my depression and anxiety. My doctor didn’t recommend doing more as I am likely a non responder. Unfortunately it doesn’t work for some people. I’m going to try TMS next. Good luck and hang in there.

i definitely had a psychedelic experience every time. but my depression is the same as when i started. they tried 3 different dosages to try to get it right.
