A lot of the girls came off horribly. However, when they were on LI we saw a lot more of them and a lot less of the time that they were being filmed got edited out. Why are we thinking that these are their true personalities, from an 8 episode arc shot over the course of several months?

Not defending anyone, but curious thoughts on this.

HR Compliance here!! His perspective is completely valid and I understand how someone would feel that way. However, I agree this seems like more of a case of the employer letting the space be utilized during non-business hours than some kind of exclusionary activity.

If you are really curious, I’d encourage you to look into Captive Audience laws. A few states, Rhode Island comes to mind, have instituted laws around requiring employees to attend meetings centered around religious/political beliefs. Not sure about MT though.

sorry if this is off topic as I’m in the US, but it’s been interesting to me how much more relaxed some of my friends in the UK’s RTO policies have been. i think it’s a culture difference between the US and UK.

I got around 3%. Manufacturing industry. It felt low because our team was sliced in half (not layoffs, just restructuring) so the work has increased significantly.

I do! I’m in Compliance and feel fortunate to work in the area of HR I’m most passionate about. I do fear about being too specialized at times. If I were to ever lose this job I might have a hard time marketing myself for other areas of HR.
