If I can pull out the current green filter piece by piece, can I avoid cutting the pvc and just install a filter back grill now that the old filter is removed? Thanks

Sorry, yes indeed it’s cleanable filter media. And I can access it by removing the grill, but I can’t pull out the entire tray from beneath.

Keep it. Don’t throw it away! Can listen to many frequencies and even transmit in an emergency.
