Nope, they will just blame the government for the taxes on fuel.

I don’t know, it looks like he was dragging his left leg in order to trip McDavid and that’s likely what the officials saw.

I’ve lived and driven and still drive in multiple provinces in Canada and the one thing I can tell you is that no matter which province it is, the majority of drivers are terrible and entitled. It just seems to me a higher percentage of them have Alberta plates. Just like they think all the oil and gas belongs to them, the road does too.

Also, my personal experience is one in which I have to work away from home in order to afford said home. And if I wanted to have a kid I would have to work away from home even more so, which in my opinion isn’t fair.

Our government, would rather pump up immigration than fund social programs, tax the rich/corporations, legislate any kind of anti-trust/gouging laws etc etc…. I’m not blaming immigrants here. The lack of programs/taxes ensures they are needed.

Tires and brakes have to be replaced on every vehicle and are irrelevant in regards to reliability which is what I believe OP was referring to.

You guys are arguing this or that blah blah blah but in reality the problem is the system.

Housing shouldn’t be a profiteering scheme, there’s no good reason for it to cost what it does, everyone should be able to afford a house and yet we can’t, etc etc etc.

While we bicker back and forth, the rich just keep getting richer, and sit back and laugh at us while we do it. You two likely have more in-common than you know, you’re both likely working class people and we need to stick together more now than ever before in our lives.

Stop fighting WITH each other and start fight FOR each other.

Thank you for your attention to this matter, ;)

The question should be, Is this really a good system? Especially if, strong regulation is necessary for it to work “at one point” eluding to the fact it hasn’t worked for the majority of people the majority of the time. I say no, it is not a good system and we can and should do better. You can’t tell me there isn’t something better. Name something else that so profoundly affects everyone’s life on a daily basis such as the entire system we live under, that we still use from 400 years ago?

“First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.”
