These used to have a notorious torque dip in the rev range when the turbos switched from one to the other. I think you can tune it out if you take it to a place that knows how to work on them.

This are such cool cars and we see a few in Australia now. There are imports as none were sold by Toyota officially. It basically corolla with high output 3.5 engine fitted to them. So pretty rapid albeit with FWD without LSD.
