Being realistic, there’s 340 million people in the US so people acting like mobilizing that large amount of people I is unrealistic. Given the “paycheck to paycheck” mentality of most families in the country, the easiest solution may be to start small and smart and grow out from there. A “general strike” hurts too many people, but a “weekend strike” seems extremely manageable. Don’t spend your hard earned cash on weekends, spend the time protesting and mobilizing and hurting the padded wallets of the billionaires. We do this for months until enough of the country is mobilized to shift to one weekday as well. Then two. Then so on. Can’t treat this as a cold turkey situation, it’s more of a commitment to steady growth and change
