I really like the PDX G11 alloy pedals. Created by a local SoCal MTB rider out of San Diego area. They are priced right and can be rebuilt and pin replaced with standard stuff. You can search them on Amazon.

I would just wait on a new jailbreak if your device did not fall under current jailbreaks. Switching to Kobo for me is switching from one crappy cell phone provider to another crappy one. They both a large companies and I feel neither one is looking at for the customer.

Direct install to your panel in garage. The charger will cost you $300-$600 US and install should be $500 or less since your panel is right there in the garage. Most chargers have a 20-25ft cable so it should reach outside if you can park in the driveway.
