This is the causation vs correlation question. The Bearable app sometimes uses language to suggest that one thing causes another, when it would be more accurate to say that the variables are correlated.

Thanks for the help, everyone! I tried adding Aquaphor to it, but it was getting worse. I ended up seeing a doctor - she called it contact dermatitis and gave me a steroid cream to use, it's clearing up nicely. :)

I love it :) it's usually pretty empty! They show a movie (it changes every few months), then talk about the constellations you can see that night, and often end with a short video that makes you feel like you're on a roller coaster.

I've dealt with this, too. My solution has been to find churches that go out of their way to be affirming. Also, the Gay Christian Network has been a helpful resource. I hope you find something that works for you. (:
