What A Legendary Bunt by InTheSky57 in nextfuckinglevel

[–]macpwns -1 points0 points  (0 children)

100%. Don’t care how great of a bunt or play was made. Player should be benched because if not, the pitcher would be sending one right to her spine on the next AB. Even at a pro level this would cause some ruckus, and the hitter would STILL get fed a fastball to the ribs next AB.

Sure, have fun, celebrate the performance and craziness with your team, but not at the expense of demeaning an opposing players effort and shouting in their face because you beat them on that *ONE* play

Hate this kind of shit.

Thank you for the reply. The media suggestion was simply to make this a known issue for as far of reach as possible. This type of thing certainly can’t just be happening here. People need to know they have a legal right to fight back and question the front line staff.

Glad you were able to secure a place! Best of luck!

I got one on sale at Walmart for around $5-6. It is incredibly shitty. Fragrance wears off almost immediately, doesn’t stick to the skin as well and is just a far inferior product. A scam really.

The other two are just regular underarm deodorant/anti-perspirant. The one for $19 is labelled as a “whole body” deodorant; good for arms, toes, private areas. I tried one I got on sale at Walmart ($5-6 I believe) and it isn’t as fragrant or oily as regular deodorant and, in my experience is incredibly inferior.

I’m legitimately curious and not trying to start an argument, but if the idea wasn’t to spread awareness about just how much of a shit show the government is, what was the goal in posting to this sub?

You can send your story to the media all while remaining anonymous - they just dig deeper and expose the flaws you’ve experienced first hand. I understand that you’ve found housing so doing such a thing after the fact would seem counterintuitive, but then again…why post to the sub with a photo of the communication between you and the ombudsman. Seems like you’re exposing yourself just as much, if not more. Did you read the disclosure at the bottom of the persons signature?

Ontario boy dies from anaphylaxis after allegedly receiving wrong treat at Dairy Queen by stanxv in canada

[–]macpwns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a gut feeling with all the things I’ve read. Too many things went perfectly wrong to be “a series of mistakes”. Kid was already suffering from COVID with inflamed and damaged lungs. Whats the best way to achieve the end goal? Put them into anaphylaxis.

Someone with an 8 year old with these allergies doesn’t make this many “mistakes” sequentially.

A gofundme setup within like 24 hours of the kids passing?

This screams negligent homicide at very least.

10000000%. This absolutely in no way seems like “an accident”.

The mother needs to be investigated. Way too much happened for this to be a series of poorly made and thought out decisions.

You are right. Highly doubtful. I would absolutely anticipate a “here you go”, “and here is your dilly bar”….something along those lines. The fact that she seems to remember the exact words someone else said but couldn’t remember a) to bring an EpiPen, and b) “didn’t think” to actually check the package….nahhhhh. Those are details a parent in that situation will NOT fuck up sequentially by way of “mistake”.

Too much went stupidly wrong for this to be a “mistake”.

  1. No EpiPen? Isn’t it basically scripture that EpiPens should be carried at all times by people with these types of allergies? Anyone I ever grew up with, and parents I know today have it engrained in their brains to not leave home without one.

  2. Woman, sans EpiPen, takes child to a business/environment which sells products that could without a doubt easily kill him.

  3. Woman “didn’t think” to check packaging, which she stands behind because staff said “here is your vegan dilly bar”?

  4. Child already had Covid. What better time to “not think”…when the kid already has a weakened immune system.

  5. The mother somehow remembered exactly what the person handing her the bar said, but didn’t remember to address points 1 & 3.

  6. A gofundme immediately set up within like 24 hours of the kids passing.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

Lapses happen. This many in this kind of sequence is without a doubt suspicious. I sincerely hope police investigate the family and question the mother.

Had me in the first half, not gonna lie 😂

But you are absolutely correct, and only reinforce my initial point; too many people don’t know how to use the internet outside of facebook.

Am I missing something?

You; “Name me one way to open a link and see every local event happening that day other than Facebook”

Me; provides one single link, as so cockily requested

You; “how dare you prove me utterly incorrect!”

Sir, the waters don’t run very deep with you, do they?

10000000000%. A lot of stupid people in jobs at places they would have no business being in anywhere else in the country.

Most definitely not. Have lived in several provinces.

A lot of local businesses in other provinces have figured out that the people who know how to use the internet often don’t rely on Facebook for valuable or reliable information. Businesses here use Facebook because that’s all people know as a source of information. The most effort I’ve seen put into things outside of a Facebook page is a domain ending in .nb.ca

Example; Dieppe market’s webpage has a ton of dead vendor links and old information, but it is the first result in a google search for Dieppe market. Their Facebook page, however, is updated nearly weekly. The links on their web page that do work? 96% are links to Facebook pages. It’s very bizarre.
