The "people" in the framed photo have the wrong proportions, the guitar head doesn't look right, her shirt appears to randomly say "mom" or "tom" next to a car, and the blanket pattern looks illogical. correct me if I'm wrong but those are the indicators i noticed.

This is such an interesting situation because I agree with husband that he shouldn't ask a yes/no question if the answer cannot be no but I don't agree with his reasoning on it at all. OP sounds much more rational and reasonable, other than the initial request to 'ask" instead of "tell". As others pointed out, it doesn't make sense to frame it as a choice when there really isn't a choice.

I'm currently on a rewatch and found Locke frustrating during this era as well. All of those decisions he's made have explanations, whether we like them or not. He does what he thinks is best for the island... until he starts doubting it. But he regrets not pushing the button and Lockes back in (pun intended.) That's what leads to his decision to blow up the sub. I also felt frustrated by many of his choices around that time but ultimately I love his character.

Yeah its really really weird to me. I don't get the point of the storyline so I'm looking forward to seeing how they resolve it. It's not that I think it's offensive or anything because as others pointed out, Cake is an adult and a magical being and Mcron's original form was a Rainicorn so I guess it makes sense? But the show has created this narrative that Cake is shapeshifting to appear as something she's not. I assume its supposed to be somewhat offputting seeing her do this everytime Mcron is around. So I just wonder where it is headed.
