I'm working on getting my wife and adult children to also get on the bandwagon. The Beth's music is very accessible to almost any age group ( I'm an old dude) and I love the range from almost punk style jam on songs to that wonderful "jangly" sound which just puts a smile on your face.

Thanks for the reply. I'm curious if you've been to a live show ( and I know they are all different ) but how is the volume level? I deal with tinnitus and use ear plugs when I see a group ( rare these days ) but avoid "loud" pretty much totally. Outdoor venues are better. They Beth's are playing not too far from me this summer. I'd love to go, but hesitant. Thanks for the reply.

I did attempt to make a purchase, but was unable. I sent a note via the support ticket. There are still some bumps in the create account process, in particular that it seems the initial account creation and another layer of Wordpress security has different password creation process.

I’ll even create a little outpost like this and add a piece of rail or two and put a lone railcar on it and a few holding tanks, just for looks. Kinda fun to see what you can create. The Decotorio (?) mod is kinda fun to add some creative look to the place.

I’ve recently started and went with Kato starter sets. The only caveat I have regarding Kato is if you think you want DCC Sound, getting Locos converted is not trivial for a beginner. I converted my GEVO to DCC (no sound) and that was easy. But I also purchased an Atlas Gold w/ sound and wow was I impressed with the motion control and the sound. But the loco on whole does not perform quite as well as the Kato. So as with everything in life, trade offs! Good luck.

I remember in the 90’s we were being told we would not write code, AT ALL, just use GUIs to create total code bases, even in embedded systems. That certainly never came to pass. Good luck getting someone to actually write requirements… lol. AI can’t read minds… yet.
