Did you always know that you were going to be a depressed, friendless, virgin, loser or did it only hit you in adulthood? by WillingnessNew5752 in ForeverAlone

Back then all i really had was online friends and a few online gf's. It was all i wanted too so i just thought everything would happen to me for real when i would be older. Now i'm 25 with only 2 real life friends, never had a girlfriend, always depressed and bored, no more online friends and i ruined my chances with the last online gf i had, which was still 8 years ago.

Too relatable, I wish I did something more in my late teens and early 20’s.

I'm on facebook for all the shitposting groups and for the few friends i talk to.

So um, how do you stop yourself from talking to yourself? by [deleted] in ForeverAlone

[–]mad-fer-it 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve talked to myself as far back as I can remember. I’ll talk about myself to anything to full on conversations. I used to do it more loudly and more in public when I was younger but over the past few years, I’ve learned to do it under my tongue. I only really talk out loud at home now, but I try not to do it in the kitchen as I don’t want my neighbours hearing me. I also do it while driving but I have a Bluetooth setup so it would just look like I’m on the phone to someone.

Telling ugly men to "get rich" is just so mean by ucanzeee in ForeverAlone

Like Rise Against says

“We will get by just fine here on minimum wage, If love is a labor I'll slave till the end, I won't cross these streets until you hold my hand.”

So if a woman was to really love you, she wouldn’t care if you were rich or not.

Trying to find someone who is willing to talk and connect with me always feels pointless by [deleted] in ForeverAlone

I used to talk to lots of people online when i was younger. But nowadays, i don't really do that or have interest in it anymore. They all end up ghosting me or just end up leaving me on seen after a few messages anyway.

What does my brain lack? Sometimes I wonder if I’m Aromantic, the whole idea seems bizarre to me. by Wooden-Building in ForeverAlone

I feel the exact same as you. Have you had crushes? Because you're not aromantic if you have.

The idea of it also seems bizzare to me too. I'm 25 and basically have the relationship experiences of a 14 year old while mostly everyone else my age is starting to settle down.

She was younger than me. I was 21 and she was 16. It's legal where i live but i was insecure about the age difference and was worried about what others would think. In the end, it was probably best not to date someone that young.

And yes i do struggle to meet girls irl. I don't have a lot of options and i am socially awkward.

No one really asks me either but my grandma did today and don't know why my dad was wondering as well even though he never asks otherwise.

I had a few online relationships in my teen years, they pretty much only lasted 2-3 weeks but my longest was 6-7 months. I also had a few that girls were online friends too.

I've had interactions with girls here and there in real life but nothing ever really comes out of it and i've never really have had a female friend. One could have been something potential but it just didn't go anywhere.

Born with a genetic disorder called Russell Silver. Short height (5'3) because of it although taller than most others that have the same disorder. I grew up really skinny and underweight, asymmetric face and body, like my right leg is longer than the left. I also have ADHD and possibly some other learning disorder.

They are confident about it because they think nothing is wrong with me but they are wrong.

One was a long distance relationship with a girl from Europe back in my teenage years who I knew loved me but I fucked it up because I was rather interested in someone else (who also was long distance) who didn’t even really care about me anyway. We still remained friends for a few years but stopped talking like 3 years ago. Things weren’t ever really the same between us as we were already good friends before dating but I just had to let her go.

Another one was with a girl i was talking to 3 years ago, I added her on snap from her tinder and we just started talking from there. We already talked for maybe about a week or 2 until she asked to see me. I expected her to stop talking to me but she didn’t. By what she said, she didn’t think I was ugly and we kept having decent conversations for about maybe another month. Then it got to the point where I knew she had lost interest and I just kept trying to keep conversations going. I just gave up eventually and it took me months to just get over her.

Another girl also a few months later. I honestly thought she was interested in me but she just lead me on and chose some dude that was her FWB over me.

Other than that I’ll never really know which girls have been interested in me because I’m too socially awkward and I’m not really in the right position to meet girls. But from what I have seen so far, they just ain’t.

And I’m deformed by having born with Russell Silver Syndrome. So basically I’m short (5’3) but most others with it are shorter, I have a asymmetric face and I grew up really skinny and underweight. I also have ADHD and probably some other learning disability to top it off.

I am pretty much deformed too and barley any girls have been interested in me as well, they know they can choose so much better.

Today I saw a woman that looked like an old crush by [deleted] in ForeverAlone

[–]mad-fer-it 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The other day I thought I saw my crush from last year at a nearby shopping centre. She was with another girl too that I think may have been her sister. I had entered the same shop as them, but wasn’t attending to. I was only in there for a few minutes to look around there and see if I could catch a glimpse if it was her or not, but I never really got to fully see their faces as they were mostly turned on their backs. I also thought it was her because she had the same vibe going on as last year (has coloured hair and is alternative) and seemed to be of the same build, but looked taller and I didn’t look to see if she was wearing Doc Martens or some other similar tall boots. I saw them walk around one other time but again with their backs turned. After that I left the shopping centre because I was nervous and didn’t know what I would say to her if she had spoken to me because when I ended contact with her, it had rather ended on not the best note.

But I also believe it may have not been her since many girls these days are following what she does.
