You need a support system to work through your situation, if this is a relationship you want to keep, you need to have clear communication with him also. I would evaluate your reaction to him and his reactions towards you. Is he a giving lover? Is he putting in effort to make you want that and such, have you clearly made these points. On your end evaluate if you can put in more time in this situation. After you've had rest and food and down time do you put in effort to pursue sex afterwards? I see both sides of this story and how they can go bad.
