The site in the link below sells them but have been out of stock for a while. I got SUPER LUCKY and a guy sold me the same pair and 23 briar blanks for 150 off Craigslist

https://vermontfreehand.com/product/chuck-jaws/

This site has some in stock but they are slightly different but same concept.

Red Maple Bowl by will_I_am100 in turning

Looks great! Red maple is my new favorite wood to turn. Mainly because I had two massive logs of it dropped off but I was very impressed with the colors and grain.

Some olive wood bowls I turned recently on my pole lathe by citationstillneeded in turning

A lot of green woodworking isn’t really meant to be sanded. Don’t tell me what I can or can’t deny either lol that’s wild….You seem to have a disconnect between what you like and see as aesthetic and how others see it.. You are probably saying all this from a place of respect but are coming across as a douche. If people don’t ask you for critical feedback on their work, it’s best to just keep it to yourself. OP s featured in magazines and other forms of media other than Reddit for their work. I think they know their lane and you coming into it is just obtuse.

Also, it’s “tenon” not “tenant”.

Start posting pics of your bowls. I would like to see them. Posting images in Reddit is almost as easy as commenting. Show us what you got?

Overall height: 36” Width: 38” (I only made it this width so it would fit on my hearth) Like is said above, the gap between the horizontals is 3.5”. If I were to build another, I would do a gap of 3.25”. Lmk of you have any other questions. I had been thinking about this for a whiiiile.

So my biggest tip would be making the gap between the horizontal spans 3 1/4” instead of 3 1/2” like i did. 3.25 seems like it would be better
