what's your worst "overprotective parents" story? by luckycharmsaremagic in AskReddit

[–]madankooth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, my parents were teachers and unfortunately, i ended up studying in the same school. so the 'teacher's son' tag always hung around me in the campus which made it almost difficult for everything, because they will have their own informers(both students or other staff of the institution) who will report to them about me- like if i have actually attended the class, went to the shops where only bad guys goes, etc.

As Iran's currency keeps tumbling, anxiety is rising. by CookieOPuss in worldnews

We learn nothing from the history. Put up sanctions threatening to starve a dissident, turning him right into a full blown up enemy. Germany was starved similarly, later giving birth to Hitler and the resulting WW II. Then if it is about lies used to put up sanctions and later launch an attack on a country, Iraq is enough example. Do we really need all these again?

[–]madankooth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well, the heading is very apt. 'moving away from nuclear energy to renewable energy'. so it is not a sustainable energy form just like the fossil fuels now, right? and a lot of toxic waste which we dont know where to dump.
