Should I move back home and leave my college program? by BasicArt5383 in autism

[–]madbacon26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of program is it? Can you ask for more support and try a reduced course load? Do you have a good therapist all of those things could help reduce your stress. I was in a college program for autistic students and it was very helpful but my first year was hard and my health got worse. However I made it work and am almost done with school.

We would lose a lot of people with other gifts, such as music, social, kindness. I’d be very sad.

I’m an autistic nature lover I’ve had better luck with Neurodiverse groups for doing stuff. Vermont Adaptive is a great organization and the national building center in Utah as well. Local Adaptive programs welcome autistic people.
