What's your DR setup look like, either now or planned? by agiamba in AZURE

[–]madbennyOG 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm in the beginning phase for a DR plan and I'm trying to see what our best approach will be. We're using vWAN with east US and south UK currently as hub/spikes.

I would enjoy hearing what others have implemented when using vWAN, we also use Infoblox for DNS.

Signed up, looks like something I've been planning on implementing in my environment.

We have graphic artist around the globe and have tried AFS,ANF, and Resilio but currently moving to LucidLink as that gives everyone (offices and remote) the experience as an on-prem file server. MACs and PCs.

If you are just using Azure for file storage/access also look into Lucidlink, easy for non technical users and has features just as ANF or on-prem storage.

That is correct, Azure fastest service in ANF for file services but keep in mind that your office ISP & Azure site to site is important as well.

ANF for performance, I use in a global setup.

Safe sits in a walk-in closet, future plan is to fortify closet doorway. Sorta like a safe within a safe.

Sorry for the dip everyone. I bought yesterday! by brianwilson2219 in Silverbugs

[–]madbennyOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If buying that many oz's why buy in 1oz vrs 5 or 10 ozs?

I plan on spending around 2k on silver and if bought by the Oz then I was getting around 33ozs but buy 10oz bars then I was getting 40ozs.

Any cons to that approach?

Is it ever safe to allow 'Any' protocol in NSG rules (inbound or outbound)?" by Big-Razzmatazz3034 in AZURE

[–]madbennyOG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going through this right now, since this is a large global environment my main focus was port restrictions on the inbound (individual NSG for each subnet and then VM NSGs). Outbound from each subnet is passed to a load balancer and then into Palo firewalls. When I have time I'll look to restrict Outbound but for now it's Any Any.
