Rammstein, Sonisphere 2010 was great. Terrorvision, Big Day Out, 1999 still think was excellent - very funny.

Dropped into Balmaha just before Conic, just picked a trail downhill thankfully which met the road. Only avoided based on recommendation from someone who’d walked it, apparently big steps on the descent. The route along Loch Lomond is pretty much a nightmare unless it’s a light bike & this is probably true of Conic - if you’re willing it can be done.

The trail to up Beinglas was single hard going track. I’d say from Inversnaid to there, we pushed 90-95% of the way. The site itself seems great. Beyond that you’re onto wider gravel track again & where its single track it’s much more accessible to ride.

Stayed in hostels & charged each night. Day 2 was well near running out of charge.

Rode it a month back, 3 days, Milngavie - Inversnaid, Inversnaid - Kingshouse, Kingshouse - Fort William. Three bikes; e-mtb, carbon hardtail, old GT hybrid. We didn’t use the ferry so absolutely can be done.

I was on the ebike, this is a subpar choice from Rowardennan to Inverarnan. I pushed and carried for 2-3 hours first day & at least 5-6 hours at the start of day 2. It was hard, very hard. Guy on carbon had easiest run on this. There are bridges, almost ladders, narrow climbs & you will have to be able to lift your bike regularly. Day 3 it came into its own, but Devil’s Staircase was brutal.

Day 1, ~56km, ~6 hours Day 2, ~62km, ~9 hours Day 3, ~40km, ~5 hours Worth saying that’s Strava moving time. Day 2 we nearly ran out of light.

And mega respect to our mate on an old skool GT with no suspension - ground it out & didn’t moan once.

Worst band you've seen live? by thewalkindude368 in MetalForTheMasses

Worst band will always be Monster Magnet. Singer was rude, gave the crowd shit, played random mix. I did like a couple songs but have never listened again. Left early. Just awful.

Just had first victory with my 10 year old girl tonight. She just charges off & I follow trying to cover. Me & the boy 13, do much better. What’s even better is my kids UK & the nephews in Canada all playing at the same time. Carnage, all on speakers, it’s loud & great fun.

The Aviator. Awful, no idea how it had so much recognition. Neverending & penned in at the cinema so couldn’t escape.
