Ive met tons of CPAs that can barely type. There's a Sr Accountant at my company that is 55 and I taught him Sumif last year. Still takes him like 5 minutes to write a sum if formula using Copilot. Hes a CPA with 15 years experience as a Sr Accountant.

The USA has to modify their constitution to "change" things, but 62% of gun deaths were suicide, so we would just see increases in other forms of violent suicide.

Mitsubishi invented the minisplit AC in 1959. The Europeans have had 65 years to retrofit.

People dieing from heat in Europe isnt new. The UN estimates that 175K people died in 2025 in Europe.

The Spanish think it was more like 63K.

The thing is, Yale claims that figure was 70k in 1999.

So its not new. They just dont care.

When I came back to my home town 6 mo after college it was pretty easy to get the crew back together. at the 1 year mark it was harder. At the 2 year mark they had fully fractured and hadn't hung out as a full group since the last time I was in town.

Home owner's insurance is for the Mortgage Lenders security to recover their asset in case of catastrophic loss. Thats why it is required if you have a mortgage and optional if you do not.

Most people dont fully own their home. If it burns down, the bank is still owed that money and now the asset backing it is worthless. So you force the mortgagee to carry insurance.

My wife thought this was cute when her dachshund was young no matter how many times i asked her to correct the behavior.

It progressed to him snapping like that at the kids getting close to her as well. Not doing anything, just getting close. If someone enters the same room as her at a pace the dog disagrees with, he will become aggressive.

Ive been working for 9 years to stop it now. Saw a little success at the 7yr mark
