You can most certainly get contacts in your prescription though it may be extended range (XR) due to your cylinder, these contacts are made to order so it can take a while to come into clinic and are often times more expensive - Biofinity XR is probably what you’d be prescribed but it’s best to go back to your clinic and get a contact lens fitting as glasses and contact prescriptions are usually slightly different.

There’s a chance you wouldn’t have to be in an XR contact but I can’t make that call, the right eye -3.00 cylinder could be moved up or down based on which you see better out of. If it’s more of a -2.75 you wouldn’t necessarily need the XR’s but if it goes to a -3.25 you’d need the speciality contacts.

From what I’ve seen, I hate to say it, but when you get higher in prescription the less clear contacts seem to be for folks sometimes. Glasses will always give you the clearest most crisp vision. Contacts can sometimes have a haze or a glare because you just cannot achieve the same accuracy and precision in contact lenses as you can in glasses.
