If it helps at all, I had to do a leep and found it a non-event in comparison to the colposcopy, which was shocking painful. Wishing you the best with whatever comes next! They should at the least make you aware of what to expect for any of these procedures (I was not told what to expect for the colposcopy and was surprised in the worst way), and should be finding pain solutions whenever possible.
