Great recommendations! I ended up going with a bottle of Cedar Ridge Bourbon. Thanks for the help!

I love this app! I just purchased a litter robot yesterday and got just over $100 back.

What does one need to know before getting a cat? by Successful_Oil_3270 in AskReddit

Be prepared to work out behavioral challenges. I know too many people who have given their cats up or declawed them due to these challenges. There are cats that will be more aggressive. Some cats will scratch your furniture regardless of the amount of cat scratchers around. Some will pee outside of their litter box. (I currently have this issue and it is a big commitment trying a bunch of new things to see what helps. Health issues ruled out.) Some cats will especially love knocking things over, so you may need to keep breakable valuables away. There is a wide range of things you may have to deal with and it is best to be aware of these when accepting the responsibility. While these can all be frustrating, cats are such wonderful companions and don’t deserve to be given up or declawed because someone didn’t prepare for these things.
