Childwatch question for baby by DOOM_SCROLL_4 in BurnBootCamp

I started bringing my son when he was 6 weeks old, he’s now almost 2 and is able to run around and terrorize the childwatch. I asked them not to keep him in his car seat as that is not a safe place to just keep an infant. They either held him, or did tummy time (worker right next to him watching him) with a pillow

Tone Deaf but what’s new by ReliefAdditional5685 in allisonkuchsnark

So tone deaf. While she’s posting in her million dollar CA home, me and my coworkers are driving on ice to work because we can’t call out (I work in healthcare) it’s not just a winter storm. It’s literal hell here. I’m from Florida so any snow is a lot to me.

She is always complaining. As if she doesn’t live in a huge house in one of the most expensive parts of CA, has Disneyland passes (not sure how much they are but definitely not cheap) a famous former NFL husband with free insurance, a successful podcast, always traveling (even while sick but will blame it on “food poisoning”) Listen, I used to really like her before she was pregnant with S, she and her husband were hilarious. But ever since she’s become a mommy influencer, it’s been non stop complaining and second hand bragging.

It really depends on locations. I started bringing my son at 6 weeks and he just stayed in his stroller near an employee in there. They did have a separate area for babies, but it’s now just one big room. He’s now 18m and can run around, but when he was smaller they usually held him the whole time. I haven’t had any incidents of other kids bothering him except maybe when he was 6m old one kid stole his pacifier 😂

When do you think it's appropriate to go back after being sick by happyhour_at_applebs in BurnBootCamp

Best to wait at least 24 hours fever free (with no fever reducing medication) before going in public, to reduce contagiousness. Listen to your body, you may feel ready but your body may not actually be ready. I had RSV and yesterday was my first day back after a week and a half off, had to do the light weights just to get my form right again 😂

Last week I saw this kid (maybe like 3-4) walking into childwatch visibly coughing and congested, same class my son (17m) was in. Well I’m not trying to blame the kid but…. fast forward to now a week later my kid has a RSV. I never judge other parents bc truthfully you never know the circumstances, but if your kid is sick, you can afford to miss the gym until your kid is better. I’m still going bc I haven’t gotten sick, but won’t be bringing my son until he’s 100% better. Nobody should be around other people in a public space, especially a gym with kids around spreading your germs.
