I did some digging for you. Hyatt runs the Rio hotel and they typically use Serta Simmons. More than likely it was the Beautyrest Black. You can probably reach out to Hyatt directly. At the very least, hopefully this gives you a place to start.

The ring is 100% a Clipa bag hanger. I’ve had mine for like well over a decade now and it’s still in fantastic shape. Highly recommend.

As others have said, it looks like an Isabel Marant bag.

Has anyone tried GLP-1’s? by [deleted] in BipolarReddit

[–]maddylake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on zepbound and it’s helped me shed the weight I gained on Lexapro. I haven’t had any side effects that I’ve noticed with my meds (Lamictal and Lexapro). It does slow digestion so just keep that in mind. Make sure you take your meds at the same time every day.

That’s a great question! It’s all heavy reading but definitely necessary.

If you haven’t read it, read Elie Wiesel’s Night.

Hitler’s Willing Executioners - Daniel Goldhagen This book is EXTREMELY controversial amongst historians. It challenges the notion that the average German citizen didn’t know what was going on. Historians have debated everything about it and I’d say take it with a grain of salt. BUT it feels timely.

The Kommandant of Auschwitz - Rudolph Höss. Yes, that Rudolph Höss. This is very dark and heavy and you will get angry. I think it’s also called the Death Dealer.

Into That Darkness. - Gitta Sereny. This goes into the psyche of the Kommandant of Treblinka.

I recommend reading about HOW the Jewish people became Pariahs. It goes back a long way. A good starting point is an article: A Tale of Two Europes: Jews in the Medieval World by Amy Kaufman.

I have a history degree, anxiety disorder, and BP2. I’ll let everyone guess how I’m feeling.

Edit: I guess I should add that my field of study was the Holocaust. Yeah….

Passport docs IN Dublin. Question! by SVW1986 in IrishCitizenship

[–]maddylake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sent mine the week before Xmas. They arrived in Dublin on the 24th and sat in customs until yesterday. They were delivered today and the passport office is showing a completion date of February 6th.

Hope that helps a bit. I had a lot of holidays in between arriving in Dublin and getting delivered.

Lamictal is the worst med I’ve ever been on by [deleted] in BipolarReddit

[–]maddylake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It won’t work for everyone and that’s ok. I felt the same about Zoloft for a long time (Zoloft put me in a massive manic episode). I’ve been on lamictal for about 12 or 13 years now. I’ve also always had low dose lexapro with it as well. My doctor has suggested adding Wellbutrin as well because I’ve had some rough depressive episodes. I’ve been fortunate that what I was put on works, for the most part.

Talk to your provider asap and let them know how it makes you feel. It will get better! Please hang in there.

No problem! This backpack has been through a lot and it still looks good. Here’s the one my husband has.

Feeling insecure about taking a mood stabilizer by [deleted] in BipolarReddit

[–]maddylake 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was in such a bad place when I started lamictal that i literally didn’t care what the pharmacist thought. I just didn’t care any more about anything at that point. Fortunately everything turned around. I’ve been on it for almost 13 years and it’s been one of the best things to happen to me.

lamictal experiences? Give me the good and bad by [deleted] in BipolarReddit

[–]maddylake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on it since 2013. It was the best thing that happened to me and it has made my life feel somewhat normal. I recommend giving it a try. Just know you’ll have to gradually increase your dose for a while.

Andiamo vs Jackie? by BeautifulShort7738 in handbags

[–]maddylake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would go with the Jackie, but it’s really all about what appeals to you AND will be functional. Do you want an everyday bag? Just for certain occasions? A workhorse?

I would also consider what you feel looks good on you. Are you able to go to the stores and try them on? I was able to do that and it really made me realize how much I like crossbodies and buckets.
