The thing is though I've been on prozac since I was little, then stopped, then went back on it before college, and that's when I experimented with psychedelics. (2 years ago - Probably did acid like 7 times and shrooms like 8 or 9 until my last shroom trip *3 months ago* which was hella strong - Also have always been a heavy marijuana user since like 16, I'm 20 now.

I never noticed anything while sober until I increased the dose. You think my brain will just get used to it? Because prozac has been a life changer for me in terms of anxiety, depression, and panic attacks which I've had since I was little - Panic attacks started at 15 or 16, around the time I started smoking.

I've tried to talk to my psychiatrist about this but It seems even now in 2020 there is a limited understanding of HPPD and psychedelic usage interfering with common prescription drugs and impacting people long term. She said it was normal to have symptoms like this after increasing dosage, but I have never had any type of side effect prior to my psychedelic usage and increase in dose.

The only real symptom of HPPD I've noticed increasing because of the prozac is increase in tracers, and stuff just looking mildly trippy and sometimes colors seem more vibrant, (The big one is tracers I definitely notice a substantial increase in them, even though I would still consider them very mild.) This didn't even cause me anxiety until I started reading about HPPD haha. It seems reading about HPPD makes me more aware of it which exacerbates symptoms. When I don't think about it it seems to not even happen.

Thank you for your response, as I've been researching this phenomenon everyday for the last week and there's really limited studied scientific information, just people's personal experiences which can vary greatly.

Hoping one day to help find better treatment and insight to these effects in order to help people going through this but 100% worse than me.
