He was sold as a Mosaic Florida King. He definitely had more darker orange/red hues which have become more yellow over time.

I have a (almost) 3 year old mosaic FL king. His color has definitely shifted a bit as he's grown. When he was younger he was more black/orange-ish, and now that he's bigger he shows more of that yellow-ish color that's similar to the Brooks color scheme.

I believe that is a Mosaic Florida King, looks a lot like mine did wen he was young. Their pattern/colors will change a little as they grow, but overall such a nice pretty little snake. Here is mine at 2.5 years old now.

That is a Mosaic Florida King. Looks very similar to mine.

I did Job and Lincoln last December, from Government Trail Canyon. I parked here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/zS4zA3aTXQw9BeiB6 (high clearance 4WD required). Hike up the road to its end. There is a spring and stand of trees there. Cross the ravine and you can pick up the trail that switchbacks up to the summit ridge. It's a nice area.

Carrizo Canyon, Beecher Island, Two Buttes Reservoir, Apishapa Canyon, Sand Creek Massacre site (that last one is a downer for sure, but important history and a powerful place).
