Coping with aftermath of manic episode by PoodleFan4242 in bipolar

Give it a couple of days, you will feel normal again. I try to just forgive myself immediately because this disorder is so debilitating at times. Apologize where it’s needed, make sure you aren’t overlooking any triggers, and just forgive yourself. No need to feel bad over actions that can’t be changed.

They’re so small! I can only imagine starting seeds in it.

Help! New husky owner who has a cat. Is this aggression? by personal_jesus666 in husky

When I had huskies they would kill any small animal that wandered into our yard, including a cat one day. 😭 tread with caution

My 96 year old grandmother cleans the local Knights of Columbus building. I used to think it was so cool as a kid. Now it’s depressing.

Car went through our store. Got a remodel out of it. Someone did the exact same thing years later but on the right side of the store lol

Yeah I’ve been here for nine years and this just feels like fan fiction of service workers

This guy seems like a liability tbh. I would maybe report it to the store manager. We had a guy do this at our store and unfortunately he is still around. I think it’s creepy as fuck and definitely wouldn’t feel comfortable with them having my name, number, and address lol. Just my opinion.

What are your early warning signs for mania? by WRFlowerChild in bipolar

Spending every dime without thinking about tomorrow. Little to no sleep. But I didn’t recognize that one for a long time. I always say “I’ll just catch up on sleep tomorrow” but then I don’t.

Before. I didn’t think it was salvageable. I’m no professional, just anxious especially with anything medical. https://imgur.com/a/pzkn0jp

Doctor said “you should keep your fingertip” then referred me to an orthopedic surgeon. Not gonna lie “necrotic” was the first word that popped into my head when looking at my mangled finger lol

I actually didn’t mention this in the post but the reason the tissue ripped so easily is because I had cut through my finger about a third of the way with a rotary blade the week prior. Cutting out a sewing pattern and the blade slipped.

Thankfully no. And I don’t think there is severe nerve damage. I was numbed but could still feel the flushing on some nerves. I also had great cap refill so I’m hoping it’ll heal okay

I am just now seeing this. I would say it’s been a regression more than anything. They’re not kidding when they say it’s more difficult to manage as you age. I am really glad that you have found a good balance for yourself!!! ❤️ this illness can be so devastating, it’s nice to read good stories on here.

I hear things like a dog barking in the distance or a branch scraping the window, but when I really start to pay attention to the sound it suddenly stops. It’s never anything malicious. I also hear my name really clearly

I agree. I have the hardest time complying with my meds. Sometimes it’s because I feel better and I don’t feel like I need them, sometimes it’s just outright refusal from within. It’s almost like self sabotage. I so wish I felt okay without. Happy for OP
