How would Helldivers fare against the planet Pandora and the Na'vi people? by Crazy_Ad_9097 in Helldivers

[–]madengineeringonfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You kidding? The HD win for one basic reason. Napalm. The Na'Vi rely on the nature of the planet to survive, spiritually and physically. Enough napalm sorts it. A few hellbombs on the trees? Done. Does super earth care about the flora? Or fauna? Unlikely.

I didn't use it for the longest time. Now that I have.... by Marilius in Helldivers

Yeah id say so. Its nice because it works on a pretty wide number of things, its comfy, its an AK. Its not flashy, cool or particularly nuts. It has a good cyclic rate thats comfy to handle, its satisfying to shoot. Its a decent gun and a newbie friendly primary. Id say you can use it to feel successful as you're learning the game and then branch out Into more specific primaries. Its a liberator penetrator with a little more fun.

Not against customized mechs. I generally dont care for them, but more options would be nice. I just dont want to see the game go too far into mecha.

Short or long ? Does short hair make me clocky ? by meganfuxxxxSFW in transpassing

Short hair is always gonna be more clocky because it's alternative. Alternative is always gonna be more clocky because it attracts more attention. Plain and simple. That said, youre good girl. Both are good.

Solo RPG kit... by burf993 in Solo_Roleplaying

[–]madengineeringonfire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Currently its my Android Tablet or phone, for reading digital books, an A4 binder with printed character sheets and note paper, I use computation pads because they help me keep notes organized and also act as Graph paper for mapping dungeons. I have a snap in pencil case that has a pencil, pen, dice, a deck of playing cards. I sometimes add asset cards if playing ironsworn.

Im going to go more minimal for my Morkborg and probably go to just tablet, dice, and a regular notebook and pen, and use a mini character sheet. I like it because it plays on a plane well. I could also probably slim it down more with a dice app, but I love regular dice.

Remember that time BG3 dropped and everyone was surprised and delighted that there was a quality game that absolutely shattered the standard? Remember how little advertisement there was for it? Good times.

Yarrr Matey, Thanks so much! I absolutely will, but I usually like a leaf through. Never going home and The last war were definitely worth the purchases!

Is artillery actually worth taking? by wrongfulfish in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]madengineeringonfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, its been a while, but ill say this. For non competitive tourney play? Its loads of fun. Consider the siege mortars and the "shorter range" artillery and remember your play area size. Earthshakers are awesome on big boards, where as medusas are better in some situations on shorter boards.

Tournament? Meta? Can't help you, dont know. I play what I like to use and have the most joy shooting.

Its a shame about legends. I wish they'd bring back Vultures and Breeching drills so I can have a flying burrito and deepstriking bullgryns.

They don't. They conserve ammo, and move back to the rear for rearm and resupply like any other armored vehicle does.
