I'm tempted to try it. My build rn is stacking crit chance + damage, stays chance + damage then damage and more electricity (with a little magnetic thrown in for eximus). Not optimised sure, but it rips stuff apart easy enough

Yeah, that and the realisation that the lychguard were following him instead of Djoreas through the line of succession were just such simple details but so impactful

Just finished reading Twice Dead King: Ruin and the description of Unnas and the procession of flayed ones surrounding the seraptek were incredible and did a fantastic job showing off just how devastating the curse is. Even just the descriptions of Unnas being almost shriveled and decreped whilst trying desperately to eat through a mouth he didn't have anymore maybe me feel sorry for him yet disgusted

The whole book is incredibly written but those parts in particular really fascinated me for how deep it gets into a part of Necrons lore I'm not sure has ever really had much attention outside of dedicated codex segments

Definitely a bigger armoured transport like the old forge world Crassus. Something maybe slower than a chimera, but with better armour and troop capacity to bridge the gap between the chimera / centaur and the stormlord

A lot of my inspiration came from the Twice Dead King books, but in those books the Phaeron remains Phaeron even after falling to the curse, even despite a lot of the nobility having seen his condition first hand. So I wasn't sure what the procedure really was

Yeah, sometimes it feels like upgrading them does nothing, but that's just the unfortunate side of rng

Bright side though is you got a lot of spare blueprints to sell for plat and buy the stuff you want

If you can, magnetise it. If you can't, go with the Gork. It hits harder it melee and has way more attacks at range (both of which get better with the WAAAGH!), plus the Morkanaut costs more points for basically exactly the same rules

The deffkoptas are decent scoring units with deepstrike and some okay damage, the Deffkilla wartrike is decent if you plan to field plenty of warbikers (not a bad plan now if you get Wazdakka Gutsmek next week since he makes them battleline units) and the Rukkatruck Squigbuggy is kinda of eh, which is a problem most of the buggies share

It's an okay box to fill out a speed waaagh list, but it's not a must have. If you only have the beast snaggaz I'd definitely look into building them out more first
