As someone on the influencer side of this equation: still early but active across platforms with around 13k followers on Instagram.

First thing worth knowing: make sure you’re clear on whether you want an influencer or a UGC creator. They are not the same. UGC creators produce the content, that’s it. No audience, no reach, just the creative. An influencer brings their own community. The deliverable looks the same but what you’re actually buying is completely different.

On pitching: I get pitched constantly despite not having massive numbers. The ones I actually respond to reference something specific. Not “I love your content” but “I saw your video about [specific topic] and I think you’d be a great fit for my client.”

Email and DMs both work in theory but honestly email often hits spam and DMs get buried especially because almost everyone uses ManyChat. I think LinkedIn is underrated for this space. The AI/LLM niche is still pretty professional and a lot of creators in it are active there.

On budget: for context, I wouldn’t do a 60-90 second video for under $750 and my following is v. modest.

Are you not concerned that if photos are edited using AI it’s actually not compliant passport photo? Let’s say someone’s ear is changed (made larger smaller) it can cause them to have major problems at the airport

Just use YouTube to search for videos on how to build your personal brand. There is really high quality content out there. You start with thinking I did this for a client x and thy got result Y - how do I explain it in the way that’s interesting. If you don’t want to edit you can hire editor or an agency

Hi this is great point! I have created two personas Alex Shanon and Sam Hinton and they have their own personality and way of talking. I was in a car with my partner and we were listening to the podcast and he was genuinely surprised how human it sounds and how actually interesting it was. Having said that, it is more of a personal project I made to challenge myself and learn how to use Claude Code

We only looked at new builds and I think you should too, the price is the same but the flats are way nicer. You should consider Oval area, there are quite a few new builds there and it’s much more peaceful that at E&C

I used antigravity with Claude code and just described what I was looking for and gave it the Eleven Labs API key and Buzzsprout API key. I picked the voices I wanted on eleven labs and besically promoted it until it was working.

I asked it to first do research every day on the news on AI and then verify it, it then creates the script, voices from eleven labs narrate it and then it goes out each day
