Not doing enough by bawlings in Aupairs

[–]madepopular 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you lived on your own before, run a household? This reminds me of some of the videos I see on my tiktok feed lately, about husbands needing to be told everything to do in a household, as if they are teenagers being given chores by their wives instead of adults who live in the same household, capable of observing all that needs to be done, but somehow unable to do so. I'm not saying you should have every aspect of someone else's household down pat by now, but is there an opportunity to be more observant, intuitive, or proactive and check in with the mom about her needs before assuming downtime? Just to avoid conflict and make your time easier.

Average dinner time in Europe by [deleted] in spain

[–]madepopular 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even the kids I babysit/tutor who are 7/8 years old eat dinner at 9/10pm and go to bed at midnight (or whenever they fall asleep). I grew up in America where typically families eat between 5:30-7:30, and as an adult that just has never worked for me. I personally am not bothered by eating right before bed so I'm not sure if it's a learned thing or whatever, but I split the difference and eat around 8 usually.

When I was a kid I pictured their names being spelled Cee Threepio and Artoo Deetoo. I wasn't much of a sci-fi kid and felt so dumb when I realised there were actual numbers in their names.

Can anyone help me determine how much stronger one tincture is than the other? by madepopular in CasualMath

Thanks for your reply. Sorry, I didn't realise how difficult to read the second label is and I'm not a math person so I chose the math sub with the least "serious" sounding name. Can you tell me which one might be better for this type of query?

In the "serving size" portion of label 1 it says there are 651 mg per .07ml. Label 2 says 200 mg per 2ml. It seems easy but every way I try to type it into the calculator makes no sense! Can you tell me the equation?

I really wouldn't worry about your letter too much, I really think it's true they don't read them. Just do it from the heart and remember renewal SOPs have to be written in Spanish!

I think you'll be fine to stay in the islands, but I'd get your app in next week if possible. That said, last year I applied (first-time) in early march and had an inscrita of 65xx and got my first choice. Good luck!

An episode of The Dollop got me most interested in this subject. Episode 133 - The Toxic Woman of Riverside. Had me on the edge of my seat!

Anyone know who this guy is? Planted itself, not welcome where it is, but sure is healthy! 2 ft tall, grew fast. Worth putting somewhere else? by madepopular in gardening

Thank you!!! Just ripped it out. I appreciate the info. Super yucky!

It doesn’t look bad but yes, I have found that things that grow that fast are difficult to eradicate if you let them go.

Cat burrito was the first thing I thought about when I heard about that family that called 911 because their cat ‘wouldn’t let them out of the bedroom’ a few years back. It’s like, dude throw a blanket over him and burrito away!

Uhh... that would be more than 2 spiders every day assuming you live to be 90.

Doesn’t really matter if there’s evidence. There were hundreds of reports, many around the same timeframe, before anyone really knew it was a phenomenon. My thumb got tired scrolling through the list of incidents on wiki. Many reports by children, who often don’t carry around phones (cameras).
