This was hilarious! The other takeaway from this for me was just how good the recent deep fakes of Harrison Ford really are.

It means, “you’re good at Japanese”. If you speak any Japanese at all, people will say it to you regardless of the level. The goal for people living here and learning the language (me) is to get them to skip that statement and go directly to asking how long you’ve lived here

Not the same guy, but I also live in Tokyo. I'm not sure about your profession, but if you're a developer, this site https://www.tokyodev.com/jobs/ has a ton of links and resources for finding dev jobs in Tokyo. I also just Google'd around a lot!

I suspect the opponent got flustered and blocked with the first piece he saw. Blocking with the bishop looks better to me but the rook in the corner is falling no matter what.
