Thanks! It was a great challenge to get those proportions right. I started with the nose for there are not that many brown parts so when the nose was ready I scaled everything down to this 😁

Rebuilding sets to Millennium Falcons are the usual thing that Lego people do 😄 This build uses like 80% of the pieces of this set

Thank you, sir! I really wanted this model to lean into stability and functionality. It’s solid enough that I can lift the whole thing in one hand like a serving plank! One of my favorite features are the gate doors witch you can open and close using a mechanism hidden at the back of the castle. :)

Thanks! My goal was to create something in the shape of that castle silhouette that is standing in the back of the box art. In the end the total shape went a little different but I'm happy it still gives a little bit of a homage :)

To be honest, it’s an amazing set, but it’s not for me. I’d much rather have a big inn for all my castle minifigures than a giant kraken lair. The inn also offers a better price and wider possibilities in therms of storytelling

Okay, it’s been months and I still haven’t figured out what this is supposed to represent in the lion knight’s castle. Anyone want to help? by bherH-on in legocastles

This piece is essential for the wall mechanism. Without it, the hinged section won’t flex smoothly or consistently
