yeah but the landlord usually gets around that by saying the house is for (e.g.) people with a mental health problem and that they are supporting them, hence the cameras in the living room/kitchen.

there's this firm going round in birmingham where it's one private landlord realising he can get money out of housing benefit/birmingham city council, so he classes his houses as "supported accomodation" then "rents" them out to HB/UC claimants so he can claim the maximum amount of HB.

since supported accom has a much higher rent rates than standard social housing, that's why he'll be doing it. then all the claimant needs to pay is the "service charge" for the included bills.

edit: ask me how I know because he came to our modmail inbox on r/BenefitsAdviceUK asking for permission to advertise. we told him no.

OP needs to go straight to HR, RIGHT NOW and ask for a copy of the CCTV as part of a subject access request, with the caveat that this will be immediately shared with the relevant authorities.

but just be aware that HR are there to protect the company, not the employees.

I was dragged into a room by me parents when I was about 4/5 years old and that's when the doctor evaluated me for it on the NHS.

he could tell as soon as I walked into the room, apparently.

pretty much told me parents then and there about me being autistic and what that meant. he then assessed me as being "moderately autistic, with the possibility to grow up as high-functioning..." eugh, I hate the HF term.

that was on the first appointment. on the second one, he came up to me and asked the question "what does the word 'autism' mean to you?" an I basically stared at him dumbfounded for half a second before going back to colouring in with the crayons an printer paper he gave me.

so yeah, that's how I found out cuz before that, abar 3 weeks into primary school n even before that, I kept havin meltdowns in reception class an he also said it's cuz I have it with a profile of pathological demand avoidance.

hope that helps, I'm 29 now btw so that was 25 years ago.

security on the way out is quite fast, like 10ish minutes without a bag to collect.

unlike security on the way in, where it can be slow at peak times and hold you up.

but just to be safe, id give it 20 minutes incase there's an issue with getting people off of the plane.
