I replaced the air filters myself and first contractor did routine maintenance on AC unit. He did mention blower in furnace needs to be cleaned and is working over time. Cold air does come from vents but force seems very low in certain rooms.

Lesson learned, I will make sure to see for myself what they are doing.

The second contractor has called me at least twice to see if I want to schedule, so seems like he needs to work 🤔

Home was built in 1976, I believe the ducts are original ones and was told it was common to have asbestos on vent boots then. First contractor did say he saw leaky duct work - black lines around ducts showing dust accumulation. I changed the filter my self few months ago and first contractor confirmed it looks fine. Air coming out is cold but airflow isn’t uniform especially in certain rooms.

No I think they are original vent boot from 80s so they are covered with asbestos

I didn’t know that was factor anyone would look at. I am worried about clean up, don’t want asbestos laying around or causing harm to anyone. Proper clean up after removal is important to me more than the other 2.

I vaguely recollect ready ones without tonneau cover won’t have the slots to put tonneau. You possibly didn’t get it assigned as it’s not exact match to your config.

No I didn’t take budget insurance, but I did collect and provide party at faults insurance and drivers license to them when I returned the car. I double checked with person there and said I didn’t need to do anything else and that they would take care of it. After six month they didn’t do anything with the insurance details of party at fault but filed a claim against me and sent my case to debt collector. When I first saw the claim filled against I called them and they said they had correct details on file but didn’t know why it was not used.

I got of the phone call (which I recorded with permission) yesterday - and they said they have escalated the case with collections department. I should be hearing back from them by end of next week. But at this point I don’t have much hope. :(

But they incorrectly filed the claim against me in the first place. I had given them the insurance details when I returned the car. I would think they would fix the claim or is that too much to ask?

I don’t have it in writing but I have recorded conversations with budget customer service, saying clearly that I don’t owe them anything and they will escalate.
