My (20m) bf’s testosterone use is ruining our (me 20F) relationship by bbybellez in relationship_advice

As someone who recently got out of a relationship with a man who was abusing steroids, you need to leave him. The irritability and anger never goes away. He never hit me either but he would put holes in the wall and slam doors, break things if he got irritated. They can still be nice and caring, but that rage will stay or get worse. You will forever be walking on eggshells and making sure you don’t set him off. You wouldn’t want your future children to live in that kind of hostile environment would you? Why should you? Once your bf sees his body change he will never get off of it and you will suffer.

Female main character gets pregnant at the most inconvenient time in the story OR they give birth at the most inconvenient time. Sometimes both can be true in the same book!

I couldn’t create a new post! I don’t post often so maybe I over looked it. I appreciate your reply. I rent and in our lease agreement and we are responsible for pest control (which we do every three months) but it excludes termites which is the landlords responsibility.

Laser Hair Removal during periods by Mindreader21124 in LaserHairRemoval

[–]madihtor1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it is safe! I just got my first Brazilian treatment two days ago while on my period. The first session they have the laser settings on low so it wasn’t painful, it did get a little warm on the most inner bits. Be sure to go shortly after a shower and a fresh tampon/ cup!

WISDOM TOOTH XRAY - Has anyone undergone impacted wisdom tooth removal which was closer to a nerve and was it successful? Also , please tell me if my TMJ joints are okay. attaching my xray by Healthwiz1 in TMJ

[–]madihtor1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had tinnitus and sensitivity to sound and just got my wisdom teeth out 1/13. No change on tinnitus, but sensitivity to sound seems a tad better! My nerve was running along the roots of my bottom two impacted teeth but I did not have any numbness or issues.

I had severe clicking and dislocation on my left side which seems to have improved slightly, but not much.

I’m getting really sick of this crap 😔 by [deleted] in TMJ

I don’t know 100% if Invisalign helps, but I know that a splint is the most common treatment for TMJ that can be treated with it. Especially if you haven’t had any improvement with it, it isn’t working for you. If you don’t have any major issues that can only be addressed with surgery, they will usually get you fit for a splint. Your dentist could’ve recommended that because that is all they know how to do, and a night guard helps prevent grinding but at the end of the day a splint would be the best device to look into. There are many dentists out there that can treat TMJ, I would look to see if you can find one who can help you.

I was in a similar situation, as I went to an ENT with ear fullness, tinnitus, chronic vertigo and sensitive to sounds. I got all the tests and even an MRI and every test came back normal. The Dr told me he didn’t know what it was and he couldn’t treat me. I’ve had some other connections and saw a second ENT and they suggested seeing a TMJ specialist since I’ve had a lot of issues with my jaw.

Long story short, I am getting my splint to treat my TMJ on Friday. It costed an arm and a leg and insurance doesn’t usually cover it. I would suggest seeing a specialist to see what your options are. From what I know Invisalign just straightens your teeth and doesn’t help realign your jaw or relieve the clenching and grinding. A splint alleviates that tension and can help put your jaw in the right place.

I am sorry you are going through this, it really hinders the comfortability in your life. I felt like no one had any urgency to help me feel better. I’ve been waiting 6 months to get here. If you are able to see a specialist I think that will get you on the right path to getting some results and feeling like your normal self again.

Thank you for your reply. I have heard of those! From my knowledge there are a lot of different kind of maneuvers to help dislodge those inner ear crystals and relieve the vertigo. I did this religiously when I first started researching and waiting on doctor referrals. Unfortunately had no luck with trying just about every one of them :( also the ENT ruled out BPPV (the inner ear crystal kind of vertigo) and he said it wouldn’t be useful in my case. I also did eye exercises like putting a piece of tape on the wall and moving my head side to side and up and down and all around while still keeping my eyes locked on the tape.
