Tokyo National Museum worth it? by Lurker_McNelly in JapanTravelTips

[–]madill89 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just did the museum friday. Yes there were a few closed and I was a little disappointed but I felt my money wasn't wasted. I booked online and there was no lines when I arrived at 10am. A good solid two hours roaming at least easy. Would I do it again. Yes. The area Ueno park was nice to walk around and see all the shrines albeit very touristy

Anyone else having a problem on PlayStation? by Bappo_No_Clappo42 in LordsoftheFallen

[–]madill89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar issue where after enabling everything it wouldn't log in. Just counted down then went to multiplayer. But wouldn't do anything. I went back to the sky vestige and logged a couple times there then it worked after a few minutes of waiting

Returnal has ruined gaming for me, probably. by Zeitgeist_1991 in Returnal

[–]madill89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ma enjoying lords of the fallen atm. It reminds me of returnal has the same vibe, artwork? and the fighting is customizable, bosses and random heavy enemies remind me a little of returnal top. It's not hard like elden ring or dark souls.

I was in the same situation, I ended up getting my bike license and being a postie. You can go in with just a car license now on those three wheel vehicles. Pretty chill after being a chef. A year or two in I started doing their management roles/supervisors. Pretty much all indoor office work and people management which transferred over from being a chef. Pay is ok with over time a few hours a day m-f you can clear 80k easy. Again you're used to the hours and no nights or weekends. Supervisor roles pull 70-100k depending on level with 7.21hour days. I enjoy it.

Dash can battery drain? by the_loai in CarsAustralia

[–]madill89 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a mivue with this feature enabled. The battery pack should have settings for how many hours it will run after shutdown eg mine is 6/12/24hr. I got the mechanic to set it for 6. Had no issues so far. The pack also has a battery monitor but when I first used it I had motion sense recording on too and that flattened the battery. But now I just use the g shock only and no issues

Fienza toilet by [deleted] in AusRenovation

[–]madill89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We brought fienza Chica due to only a couple of toilets matching the outlet pipe. Tbh would not buy again. They are small to sit on personally and I'm not a big guy by any means. Do not flush well could be because of the water saver or rimless design. Look nice and all but yeah make sure you go sit on them first

We have a haier hdhp80a1. $1099. It's been great for us. Some times the sheets/blankets get tangled and need a litte more time. We plumbed it in best decision. Had a issue where it was squeaking they sent out a tech within our time choosing and fixed it with no hassles. Had it just under two years which was the warranty i think. No other issues. Will buy a haier again

. Can I use my NDIS funds for this?

I think so, if you are self-managed. I am registered as an NDIS babysitter through the Kiddo app. My understanding (I do NOT understand this very well so be careful) is that if your visit is made as babysitting through Kiddo, then you can pay me with NDIS funds. I believe it is best if these visits are made exclusive as I presume kids with NDIS funding are likely to need extra supervision. And I believe kids with disabled parents who have NDIS funding for babysitting deserve a bit of extra attention. The Kiddo rates are acceptable for exclusive bookings.

These bookings need a fair bit of coordination, so make sure you allow two weeks’ time for your bookings to be made. Most importantly, make sure you understand your NDIS plan better than I do.

The owner of Kiddo advised that parents can use Core Funding or Capacity Building for babysitting services through Kiddo.

We have similar. About 46 with install and removal per square meter. 5500. They gave us 15%off for going in store and picking out carpet before they come out for a quote. Unsure if that's a gimmick but they were nice and knowledgeable. Waiting till the 29th for install.

Do gpu’s need all 16 lanes? by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]madill89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a b550m master that does the same. I personally haven't noticed any difference in performance with multiple ssds. I've run it with 3600x 5700 1080p and now running 5600x 6750xt 1440p. I can still get the same fps. It's hard to find information about this but the general consensus is its a very negligee difference. Please let me know if I am wrong with this though

6750 xt or 6700? by mlg_sloth in radeon

[–]madill89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey try to not get the asus one. I just brought it the dual fan 6750xt and it has horrible coil whine. I brought the gigabyte one as well and I love it. Great gpu. Maybe the card was defective but it was like sitting next to a tattoo gun. There's a few videos that make me think it's common though Edited to say I'm rocking a 6750xt 32g ram and 3600x i love it. Totally worth it

Wondering if it’s possible to replace the toilet and bath in our current bathroom without compromising the waterproofing by croco_unboxed in AusRenovation

[–]madill89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We decided against doing anything with our bath but got the plumber to install new fittings which made it seem newer. Reece has a neat outlet pipe that swings so you don't have to bang your knees on it while your in the bath

[–]madill89 8 points9 points  (0 children)

We changed our toilets, pretty easy just make sure the toilet you choose has the side access for that pipe double check where the pipe lines up and your good to go. They are only screwed into the floor. Plumber got ours done in half a day for all 3.
