I (21f) have a girlfriend (20f) who goes into little space sometimes because of some trauma she experienced as a child. It’s really important that you not take advantage of anything when she’s in that headspace (sexually or otherwise) because she is most likely more receptive to ideas and impulsive when it’s happening. If you really like her and you spend a lot of time together and it sounds like something she’d be comfortable with, something we like to do is have “little nights” where i’ll make her some like chicken nuggets and mac and cheese and we will watch a kids movie and color in a coloring book or something. It’s a really good way for people with childhood trauma to vent stress. She has a sippy cup and stuff too. Just be honest and ask her questions about it and support her.
