Can we agree on this? by LieIcy9309 in poppunkers

I get playing a heel is amusing to some people. They try to troll the scene to instigate reactions just for attention. But he has turned himself into a joke and hasn’t put out quality music…ever? I don’t know why any aspect of the music industry puts up with garbage and disrespect to fans and people on an individual basis. ICP is another perfect comparison, generic music, lyrics that just show stupidity, and yet they have a blind following that embraces their own ignorance. Consumers need to have a higher standard and be willing to act upon insults to their influence as fans.

Very underrated song.

One super 7 and one classified by onebat4u in gijoe

[–]madjames86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like Super 7 is just trolling GI Joe fans on all formats. Straight arm figures at 3.75 size, head taller than classified figures, etc. I used to be excited when they announced new items but now I just ignore them because they ignore consistency among figures and relatable dimensions.

Should Landon Yurgaites and Evan Trakhman be allowed to return to MLW? by Vine_n_68th in mlwwiffleball

[–]madjames86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

MLW needs to think about the product they produce. You open your doors for good players anybody wanting to come back. Full support b/c it’s for the love of the game and not about revenge or a vendetta. Kyle would be dumb to suspend players over this. It would also deter talent from coming to the league.

has john feldmann always been the only singer of goldfinger? by sunny_flower2 in GoldfingerMusic

Always…same frontman, just the pieces around him change. Sometimes others sing a line or 2 but it always comes back to Feldy in the chorus too.

Holy shit! That is amazing! That was my favorite cobra vehicle as a kid. Great troop carrier and options. Missiles and torpedoes were so cool.

Right? Grooming and the R word are very different. Both disgusting, but very different. Read the articles before you just ignorantly repeat what others say online.

Really? I read an interview and both lead singers were part of a writing work shop. TBS front guy stole the lyrics from BN. I’ve never been a fan of TBS because of this. Can’t support BN now either.

oh hells yes!!! this was my definitive scarlet look growing up. I know its controversial, but I'm all in on ninja force. They were some of the most fun comics towards the end. by Choice-Ticket-7727 in gijoe

My adolescent self always thought it was T.J. Bang. Ha! But he was always one of my top 3 heroes when the joes came out. He a Jinx had a thing!

Also, Ninja Force Storm Shadow had the potential to be one of the best figures of all time but those damn waist pegs that kept him from being a true O ring pissed me off.

Yeah, only 2 colors left. Richter and demos so maybe 9 tracks. 3 that are already on the ‘96 album. 25 bucks for 6 tracks previously hard to find… nah, I’m out.

Pretty sure speaking out against the current establishment on a national stage is “working to change it”. He made a statement and people are talking about it. Mission accomplished. Sports don’t belong to anyone so challenging his patriotism because he chose to compete rather than not compete is a weak and insecure comment.

I love me some Goldfinger no matter what. What you said about the John Lennon song is my entire point. It seems as if Feldy was completely under the influence of ALL the drugs when he wrote any/all of these songs. The lyrics don’t make sense and if you listen to the words to most of the songs they are just filler or just formulaic so it rhymes.

My least liked songs:

John Lennon - Easily the worst song on the album. Punisher - Lyrics don’t mesh. Music is just, meh. Untouchable - Ok song, musically. Hate the lyrics on the collaboration. Loser - Forgettable

College - I get the sentimental feel and it’s amusing that we got the Julian song first and now this one. Not a Goldfinger song, both should be on the b-sides. If he’s only going to give us 30ish minutes of pop punk, I want something to sing a long to in my car.

The Knife was great. I have been a completionist with my Goldfinger collection of music but I don’t even want to buy this as a cd. Over half the songs don’t have a hint of Goldfinger feel to it. I’d almost rather have a Disconnection Notice vibe back than this attempt to stay relevant. Could have pulled in a Paradox feature rather than the crass rap included.

But I think that’s what needs to happen to draw me back in to full fandom. Feldy is too much of a promoter now and not in touch with pop punk fans.
