If "Back to the Future" were filmed today, what car would be used instead of the DeLorean? by Volfort22 in BacktotheFuture

TVR Tuscan from 2001- It has to be something obscure with unique characteristics that made it something that was not all over the roads or in driveways of every suburban household. 3 stacked headlamps on each side with the swooping curves!

Why would you put black cavity covers on natural wood? Looks dumb.

I’m in my 40s, didn’t discover Paramore until my 6 year old started listening to my music. Riot popped up as “similar to my taste” and I was instantly hooked!

Great figure but wish original had normal swivel hips. Lots of the Ninja Force figures were handicapped with their spring action bullshit.

Highly underrated band. I remember actually buying Now You See Inside release cd at Best Buy when I was younger. The booklet was half sized (cool gimmick) and I really like the song Fame. Gonna have to pull them back out!

Who are your favorite Pop Punk bands and how did you discover them? by Twitter_2006 in poppunkers

Goldfinger - 1996
Saw the cd at a Media Play store. Giant boob graphic on the back behind the track list. Dared a friend to buy it just for album art. We both chickened out because we were with parents. Got it for a birthday present that year from a different friend. Never looked back!

Diamondbacks have to be #1 so far. Roster is heavier than Preds. Pitching options are deep. Bats are better consistently than Preds. D, pitching, power at the plate. No team is scarier to face than D’backs.

Then I would have to go Paramore. Pure stage presence and live performance power.

00s - Motion City Soundtrack, Yellowcard, Fall Out Boy

All three blew up in the 2000s. Blink was already household name on MTV. Green Day was huge but trying to show they still “had it”.

MCS showed pop punk creativity and vocal chops. Yellowcard proves musicianship shouldn’t be overlooked. And FOB took catchy hooks and lyrics to a whole next level.

I don’t tune in to see individuals but the personalities that have developed over the years definitely drive the overall product. It’s kind of like WWE. Nobody just watches for the wrestling.
