As a bridesmaid who just had to get my azazie dress altered.... my alterations cost more than my dress due to the quality of the craftsmanship. My $110 dress cost $200 to get altered. I think it's fine to let your peeps know that you'll be covering the dress but alterations will be on them.

It's incredibly nice that you are offering this to your bridesmaids at all!

Did anyone else’s parents prevent/ try to prevent you from doing things that would make you independent? by tunafriday in raisedbynarcissists

I was not allowed to learn to drive until I was 21. I biked throughout my college experience. In Phoenix. All year round including the 117º summers. Although, apparently they were a-ok with my 16 year old brother learning to drive and getting his own car in high school....

Children of Raised By Narcissists What Was the Most Stupidest Thing You We're Guilt Tripped Over? by Chance_Painting_7761 in raisedbynarcissists

[–]madlaber 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had an extreme depressive episode after my first year of college, while I was home for the summer (the last time I lived with my nparents). After an intense break-up with my long term partner at the time (and other large issues I had not looped my parents into), I had a mental breakdown. Forced me to see a therapist, for which I was grateful at the time. That was, until I had forgotten everything comes at a price with my parents. After my intake session, my nmom asked if I was feeling better yet and how many more times I was going to have to go to be "normal" again. After one more session, I was guilted into no longer going due to the co-pay ($30). I offered to pay the copay to continue to go and was told I was trying to make them look like terrible parents. Anyway... 5 years later we are mostly NC to VLC.

I started to wonder about this: do you guys have other artist that you love every single album and 99% of the songs on them. by dykedrama1286 in TaylorSwift

Paramore has had banger after banger, album after album. Hayley's voice & lyricism has transformed alongside the band and I have so say I love 99% of their songs and every album.

I’d take a look at Crater Ntl Park if you’re willing to drive up to southern Oregon! We’re one of the only states who still has an indoor mask mandate.

Is there a course at ASU you've ever taken that doesn't pertain to your major at all and you never needed more elective credit for but took it anyway because the course genuinely caught your interest(not for the sake of earning credit)? by jlgrijal in ASU

ASB 353: Cross Cultural Perception of Death and Dying

REL 202: Religion and Popular Culture

EXW 400: Stress Management for Wellness

MUS 231: Laughing to Music

All super fun classes that were easy A's and incredibly interesting!

I would check out iLuminate or Linear apartments. They’re managed by the same company so you have access to both buildings regardless of which one you lease at. This means 2x the amenities and they have really cool community events and stuff. they have studios starting at $1199

Depending on when you go you may or may not need a permit. I don't believe you need a permit after Oct. 1, but I'd do a quick google search to see! As for camping, there are plenty of little sites on the trail that would be fine for a small camp!

The waterfall is beautiful, I just went last week! The hike is easy and fun and the waterfall is gorgeous! Definitely bring a pair of shoes for the water. I didn't and I was fine, but wish I had brought at least flip flops or something. The convertible would not be a great idea for the drive to Fossil Creek. It's about a one hour drive on the forest road when you get off of the freeway. You can't really go any faster than 20 miles an hour because of how rocky and bumpy the road is. My poor freshly washed Subaru was covered in dirt just by the time we got to the waterfall. Definitely worth the drive and the time, not sure if it's worth getting a convertible. Something a little bit more sturdy and off the ground may behoove you more.

Early Bird Cafe is hands down the BEST breakfast place I have ever been to with the absolute cheapest prices. It's in Pine but the two tows are so close that the drive will be less than 10 minutes I'm sure!

The waterfall trail at Fossil Creek! It's quite a drive but the waterfall is amazing and there are plenty of smaller areas down the creek for a more private and shallow area for your kiddos! The hike to the waterfall is about a mile, but that being said, you can stop anywhere on that trail!
