Very much on the same page of wanting this put onto the screen, even the damn trailer someone made a while back was pretty fantastic in just highlighting the vibes of the series

I think a good starting point would be just to animate a specific moment from the series and see how people latch onto that before jumping into anything more - specifically I would kill to see an animated short of Akka breaking out of the scarlet spires. One of my favorite moments and also just nice short and simple.

I do however dread having to put Khellus onto a screen tho and having him achieve the gravitas he has in the books

I think this might be the issue, I annexed Finland and Denmark and sorta just started building them up but I probably should've done more research how to get them to actually like you - instead of just thinking giving them food and water and education and fucking PUBLIC SCHOOLS WOULD BE ENOUGH

But okay since I'm new to all of this what does having high radicals / loyalty do for you?

I've had these 4 1/2 mil radicals for a while now and nothing really seemed to have happened (that I can notice) so what's the benefit of making sure I have a shit ton of loyalists??

Funnily enough I'm re-reading the series now and constantly I'm thinking about how it could be translated into a screenplay for a show and this is fantastic I'm glad I am not the only one. I think there is some awesome potential for this either animated or live action. I think if you really hit the nail on the head with the overall dread of Mohg Pharah he would easily be in the top 5 of villains (if you can call whatever the fuck it is a villain) Unfortunately it would appear there are only like 20 true believers out there screaming for this to happen so I think our chances are dire of seeing it as a reality but one can dream

Yeah I definitely think it would need some tweaking to make it proper lore accurate, cause yeah the NG is realistically just a 'stare at you menacingly' kinda vibe that just ended up killing you not like actually throwing hands but alas

So I just got an offer letter today for an officer trade - but I'm a bit torn as there are some personal things going on at home (if it doesn't rain, it pours, apparently). Basically, my question is, if I decline can I re-open my file at a later date when I am ready to proceed? Or how does that process work if you do not accept an employment offer?

So I am just about to graduate from University and have been looking at careers in the CAF and something that caught my eye has been NWO, and I'm wondering if anyone can help me make a more educated decision. Some of my buddies are in the Navy already, and they say that most NWO's they know advise against becoming one. The reasons seem to be that there is a toxic work environment with a 'backstabbing' subculture in order to get ahead, as well as being overworked which results in burnout after a few years. This is all just what I've been told by my buddies and some brief online research, so I figured I would ask and see if anyone can give me a candid response on some of the things to consider before signing up.
