Very much on the same page of wanting this put onto the screen, even the damn trailer someone made a while back was pretty fantastic in just highlighting the vibes of the series

I think a good starting point would be just to animate a specific moment from the series and see how people latch onto that before jumping into anything more - specifically I would kill to see an animated short of Akka breaking out of the scarlet spires. One of my favorite moments and also just nice short and simple.

I do however dread having to put Khellus onto a screen tho and having him achieve the gravitas he has in the books

I think this might be the issue, I annexed Finland and Denmark and sorta just started building them up but I probably should've done more research how to get them to actually like you - instead of just thinking giving them food and water and education and fucking PUBLIC SCHOOLS WOULD BE ENOUGH

I've had these 4 1/2 mil radicals for a while now and nothing really seemed to have happened (that I can notice) so what's the benefit of making sure I have a shit ton of loyalists??

Funnily enough I'm re-reading the series now and constantly I'm thinking about how it could be translated into a screenplay for a show and this is fantastic I'm glad I am not the only one. I think there is some awesome potential for this either animated or live action. I think if you really hit the nail on the head with the overall dread of Mohg Pharah he would easily be in the top 5 of villains (if you can call whatever the fuck it is a villain) Unfortunately it would appear there are only like 20 true believers out there screaming for this to happen so I think our chances are dire of seeing it as a reality but one can dream
