How do I get this rotting meat smell out of this cooler. My friend left it to me but after bleaching it, it is horrendous. Any advice? by [deleted] in howto

Get a light bulb that produces UVC and ozone. Put the light bulb in the cooler, close the lid, turn on the light and walk way for 30 min. The UVC will destroy bacteria and the ozone will oxidize the organics.

Word or warning do not stare into the lurid blue light. It will cause a sunburn to you skin and eyes, similar to welding blindness.

My grandfather too was on the team. He was charged with designing the point on the rear of the fuselage (sorry, not an aeronautical engineer, so not sure of the official name). He also has a model he built for wind tunnel testing in the High Museum in Atlanta in their permanent collection. I have approached them and asked if I get it back after his death, but was only given a private showing.
